The segmental (1/3, 1/4) method and Clarke's and Hochstetter's points are established in the model. The depth to the musculus gluteus medlicus is also determined.
- The pelvis is built-in. Trainees can practice identifying the musculus gluteus medicus injection site by palpation of the iliac crest and greater trochanter.
- Since the inner structures of the musculus gluteus medicus in the pelvic region, nerves, and blood vessels are presented, the injection site can be accurately identified referring to these, avoiding mis-injection into nerves and blood vessels, by which more realistic and practical training can be performed.
- The skin and bone textures are similar to those of the human body, which greatly contributes to mastering injection into the musculus gluteus medicus.
- The epidermis is very similar to that of the human body, and specially processed so as to retain no needle injection mark even after repeated practices.
- Water (only tap water) can be infused.
- The red light turns on and a warning buzzer sounds when the intramuscular injection site is incorrect or the injection is too deep, even at a safe point. The green light turns on when a needles is inserted into a safe region.
